Why People Love Romance Stories

I can’t begin to tell you how excited and nervous I am about the upcoming Book Party. The Tennessee Love Series. My first publishing experience was wonderful because Erin Cartwright-Niumata is a wonderful editor and friend. Love her dearly.

It seems fitting that we talk a bit about why people read romance stories. I know I have been asked why I write them… I have heard people talk about why they read them. Most often it is because we all still believe in love, and we believe that in the end regardless of the obstacles life can throw at us Love Conquers All.

This doesn’t mean that love is easy and always peachy keen. There are the ups and downs, the happy and the sad… those moments when you look at each other and just laugh uncontrollable for no other reason that at that moment you both just get it.
Love is sweet and sassy and should be celebrated every day of the year. So this Valentine’s Day, spend some time at my Facebook Book Party, share your favorite relationship moment with us… it could be anything as long as we keep it clean. I just might even share one of mine!

I am sure you all remember my exciting news back in June of last year, Avalon becoming part of Amazon.com. The really good news for me is that my series is finally making its way to Kindle!
The even better news for all of my wonderful readers and all of the new readers I am sure to have, I am hosting an online Book Party on Facebook on Valentine’s Day.
I wanted to do this for a couple of reasons. First, I love my readers as much as I love my writing. What better day is there than Valentine’s Day to celebrate the romantic stories in the Tennessee Love Series? Plus with my books going to Kindle, getting them in print may be difficult, one day not so far away , so I want to give my readers a chance to win a complete set autographed by me. You know one day that signature is going to be worth a lot of money!
For a more selfish reason, I wanted to be able to talk to my readers, where ever they may be. So I am going to be live at this Event, twice, on the 13th from 7pm to 9pm EST and again on Valentine’s Day from 7pm to 9pm EST. This gives me a chance to get to know all of you and you a chance to get to know me and what stories I am thinking about and what you can expect from me next.
There will be other giveaways for lucky attendees aside from autographed sets of my romantic story books. You never know what surprises I have up my sleeve unless you come on over and join the Event.

2 HOURS OF DOWNTON!

Last night was incredible! I didn’t know that it was going to be 2 hours and at 10:10 I looked at the clock and said, Oh, my! It must be 2 hours.

I’m glad Tom is staying. I didn’t want him to take the baby away. But, my favorite part: MR. BATES COMES HOME!!!! YAY!!!!!

I don’t want to give anymore spoilers. But, stay tuned!
